Nice Concert but Should have been Inside

First, Ill say the concert had an amazing artist line up. The concert was lit but I, along with several others out there that day, had recommendations for areas of improvement. The concert was outside and the venue was a bit small with quite a large turnout. Event staff/site managers refused to expand seating at the little spots there were available seating (by the stairs). Multiple people coming to take a seat after standing all day just to be removed and told that certain sections were "required" to be blocked off. They blocked off four rows of stairs that could have been used for additional available seating, saying they were "walk ways" but there wasnt enough people by the stairs allowed to sit to even require four walk ways. In addition, the line separating people who paid general admission vs the stage access admission was a bit far back. I understand profiting off of people wanting to be closer to the stage but its a festival, not a concert. I personally feel it would have been more lit without that because the crowd would have been way more hype. The stage access crowd is quieter and the general crowd so far back we can barely even see anything. Then to add that long 20-30 min break before Lil Wayne was introduced didnt help. Its already cramped and hot and people are tired, anxious, antsy, etc. I think next year, for a start, should be hosted IN the Superdome or Smoothie King Arena so people can sit and be in a cool area. So many areas of improvement would have made the concert way more enjoyable. And would have likely changed my opinion on going next year. But for now, these issues have lead to me saying it was an enjoyable fest for the one time but I would not go back.
